We’ve been named by Cleantech Group in the 2019 Global Cleantech 100 alongside Impossible Foods, Lyft and a diverse group of companies advancing cleantech and sustainability innovation. This is the second year in a row we’ve received this honor. The Global Cleantech 100 features the private, independent, for-profit companies best-positioned to solve tomorrow’s clean technology challenges. This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the award. This year, a record 13,900 companies from 93 countries were nominated. These firms were weighted and scored to create a short list of 308 companies that were reviewed by the 87 members of Cleantech Group’s Expert Panel comprised of leading investors and experts from corporations and industries active in technology and innovation scouting. From pioneers and veterans to new entrants, the expert panel broadly represents the global cleantech community and results in a list with a powerful base of respect and support from important players within the cleantech innovation ecosystem. The complete list of 100 companies was revealed this week at the 17th annual Cleantech Forum San Francisco.During the Forum, our Co-Founder and CEO Brenden Millstein accepted the award alongside the other honorees, and also participated in a panel discussion with other clean energy leaders on data-driven value creation in the built environment. During the panel, Brenden explained how advancements in data analytics enable us to turn energy waste into guaranteed financial revenue for building owners via Efficiency Production. We’re honored to have been named to Global Cleantech 100 for the second consecutive year — not a bad way to kick of 2019! We’ve got plenty else in store this year, so stay tuned.
